The Illusion Of Fear

The ego does not like to lose, and the mind creates the fertile ground on which imaginary fears, doubts and worries can be cultivated. When you think about it, very few fears are real. A small element of perception can grow into an emotional rollercoaster, standing on the foundations of inaccuracies and misjudgements. Few things are ever as they appear to be. Your perception creates your reality.

The main problem with fear and anxiety is it builds up slowly, where people go inside and make pictures of terrible outcomes and repeat them over and over. They become their own worst enemy, and then wonder why life turns to crap?

Most fears are disproportionate to the event or potential outcome. What you are afraid of is not what you think, in as much as a person who fears heights is not afraid of heights at all.

When fear arises you need to channel those emotions into positive outcomes which support your desires. Ultimately fear cannot exist in the present, because its life depends on living in the past or projecting itself into the future. When you focus on the step you are taking right now, fear finds it difficult to exist. So, if you are worried about paying debts or what  you are going to do next, instead concentrate your energy on the present step you need to take, not the daunting end result.

When people are angry or aggressive it is fear they are showing. young children show fear and anxiety when they are not around those that have nurtured them. as adults we show these emotions when we have less support from those around us that we feel protective. these emotions are part of a positive natural progression to life that helps us evolve and face situations. if situations occur that make you feel fearful or those in your company create this feeling remove yourself from dominant situations or friends or people that create this and are the outcomes necessary. Job, new house, career, friends. if you practice Yoga try to concentrate on the Chakras especially the throat Chakra. Ask yourself if you make people feel this way, and show confidence in your convictions.
